Calm Waters
Counselling Collective
Open 7 days/Week, Including Holidays
Life’s storms can be overwhelming. Here is a place to breathe, a safe harbour, a place to be heard. We are here to help you get through the storm to calmer waters.
We are a collective, a group of counsellors working together towards a common goal: to provide evidence based, non-judgemental, trauma informed and inclusive mental health care.
We hold space for counsellors to connect, consult and collaborate.
Our Four Pillars
Group Counselling
Counselling is not a one-size fits all process which is why we are offering a variety of groups so you can choose the one (or more) that best suit your goals!
Clinical Consultation Teams
Consultation Teams are biweekly or monthly groups for counsellors to collaborate and consult on treatment planning, interventions, or simply another perspective. Consult teams are a space to grow and learn, without judgement.
Individual Counselling
Individual counselling with a Registered Clinical Counsellor, Registered Social Worker, or other qualified mental health professional.
Connecting Counsellors
Social, Networking, and Professional Development events for counsellors.
Counselling
Individual & Groups
Individual and group counselling options are available! Individual clinicians can support with anxiety, depression, self esteem, low mood, interpersonal difficulties, LBGTQ+ specific issues, borderline personality disorder, self harm and more!
“Going to therapy is a gift. It is a chance to finally be heard, understood and supported”
From consultation groups to social events and networking, Calm Waters is a space designed to develop a sense of community for clinical counsellors.

Inclusivity & Respectful Environment
Inclusivity, respect, compassion and equity are some of our fundamental values. We welcome individuals of diverse identities and backgrounds. Our goal is to provide a space where individuals feel heard, valued and seen. We respectfully acknowledge that our practice is located on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Coast Salish Peoples, including the Semiahmoo, Tsawwassen, Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh Nations. We honour the knowledge, transitions and ongoing presence of indigenous communities here in the Lower Mainland and across British Columbia.
Calm Waters Counselling Collective is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and supportive environment. Abusive, discriminatory, or threatening language toward staff or other clients will not be tolerated. Threats of violence, harassment or other abusive behaviours may lead to the termination of services. Speak to the clinical director for any questions or concerns.
